Jay Lane sent 2 mailers to voters homes that claimed Jerry Tillett refused to support 2nd Amendment rights.

For over 40 years Jerry Tillett has attended events across the state. He has attended Shrine Club and Mason gun banquets every year for many years. He attended “Ducks Unlimited Banquets” for years even after they became “Sportsman Banquets”.

Jerry Tillett visits his local gun range and also owns land on which he has held concealed carry classes. His campaign efforts started off at the Elizabeth City Shrine Club Gun Show. 

Jerry Tillett never received any candidate survey request from the NRA and did not refuse to support 2nd Amendment rights.
