He talks about saving land for agriculture nearly everywhere he goes. But at a forum several months later when asked about affordable housing he mentioned that he’s willing to give up timberland for a data center (which would take an enormous amount of natural resources and strain grid capacity). One data center uses roughly the power consumption of a small town and is matched by equally staggering water consumption.
Who has approached him and asked him about a data center? This special interest is very opposite of saving land. Another piece of evidence of the walking contradiction that is Jay Lane.
Why is Jay Lane lying?
The proof:
Jay Lane talks about cutting timberland for data centers.
(video being uploaded, check back soon.)
Jay Lane talks about what farming means to him.
(The more he talks the more he reveals his business ambitions and the influence from special interests. Data Centers???)
